Let us introduce ourselves-

Jessica Glendenning grew up in Bolivar, where she met her husband, Alex Glendenning. They have three amazing children, two girls who still attend Bolivar schools and their oldest son, who is a local barber in Bolivar.

Paula Sprague is not originally from Bolivar, but grew up not far from here in Hermitage, MO. She moved to Bolivar in 2005 and chose to remain here to raise her son, who attended Bolivar schools and is now in the Army National Guard.

Our story began 17 years ago when we met while working at another local small business. What started out as friendship grew into something much more meaningful. Throughout the years, we've raised our kids together and supported each other through all of life's ups and downs, and somewhere along the way, we became family.

For years, we talked about what it would be like to own a business together. We dreamed, tossed around ideas and always talked about how we wanted to make something of our own. Then, an opportunity came along and we simply couldn't pass it up-and Oak and Ivory was born.

Our goal is to offer beautiful, quality rental pieces along with friendly, personal service without losing that small-town feel. We wanted to build something that the community we call home will love just as much as we do.
